The Name

There is no specific meaning to the word “dyvallion”. It’s a random word/name that I created.

Well, there is a story as to the creation of the name though. It all started in neopets. I used to be one of the active players in neopets. [*neopets is a virtual pet site*] … Yup, until I found myself graduated from University and landed on a job that requires 110% of my time.

Anyway, back to the stories as to how I came up with this name - “dyvallion”. Since neopets is so famous, there are a millions and millions of pets being created each day. Hence, the common names were usually already taken by other players. This then resulted in random names created with numbers. Well, I didn’t like that. I mean, how can one named a pet with numbers, i.e. Adam2008 or even x_0_Adam_0_x. Naming pets with numbers and symbols are just so weird, so I decided to think of some interesting and uncommon names. Yup, like “dyvallion“… and other names like “Bleamax“, “Chrystallytte“, “Oraecle” and “Xerylle“.

And yup, that’s how the name dyvallion came about. I’ve been using “dyvallion” as my nickname around the ‘net eversince then. And now, officially, I have my own domain with that name.

The Weblog

This weblog is a site where I share most of my favourite things in life. Among others my favourite things in life are food, tech, accessories, movies, books, drawings, photography, etc. Hence, there is no 1 specific theme to this weblog. While some may advise that it is better to have just 1 main topic for your website @ blog; e.g. a food blog, a photo blog, etc., I prefer to have it all here.

Why? The answer is simple: Because these are all my favourite things in life and I wouldn’t want to have separate blogs for each 1 of these things to confirm to the norm (if ever that is).

Besides writing about my favourite things in life, this weblog would of course, features some of my random ramblings of the day. Hee
