I had the chance to go to Sitiawan for a friends’ wedding about 2 weeks ago.
As usual, I will be busy looking for good food to eat. One of my good friends who hailed from Sitiawan recommended a couple of things to me; i.e.:
Since I was only in Sitiawan for 2 days, I did not have the chance to try all 4 dishes. In fact, I only had the chance to try 1 - the Red Wine Mee Sua (you can click on the photo for a bigger picture).
Yes, the chicken was soaked in Red Wine, I presume. The taste? Well, like my friend put it - “This mee has an acquired taste”. And I concur with that. Its acquired and unique taste makes it different from other types of noodle that I have tasted before. It depends very much on individual preference, I would say. But if someone were to ask me whether I like it, I would say, “unfortunately no.” It just did not conform to my taste bud, I guess.
Anyway, this is certainly something different and ought to be tried at least once in one’s lifetime!
hehehe - finally pindah juga ko to your new website ah

Thanks for the interesting information.
Kanki: Wah, good for you!
Yup, yup… Other friends have been telling me to make sure that I try the Hot Biscuit next time. Hmm… But the problem is… I dunno which shop should I go to, to buy that Hot Biscuit
Need to do a more thorough survey before going there again. Hehe.
